Green Light, the Italian Company that made natural well-being its world wide philosophy.
Over fifty years of experience in the hairdressing field are the basis of our idea, which is Green Light.
Our intention was to give life to a world wide project that could satisfy the contemporary hairdressers’ most different needs and make it so that the best of the Italian style and experience could reach more than a hundred countries the world over.
Green Light is a project we have to develop together, you and us in close synergy, to create, throughout the world, new well-being centers that are led by a common concept of naturalism, where the highest level of professionalism and serenity is offered.
In the BioSalons (that is the name of one of our Concept Salons), everything is functional to a serene and natural environment: from products to furniture, from accessories to communication. However, the most essential point Green Light invested in from the beginning is human resources: in order to grow, it is necessary to form one's partners both professionally and conceptually. Only with these presuppositions shall we be able to build a worldwide project and achieve success together.
Green Light…from the beginning:

From 1959 to 1968 prior to establishing the company, Mr. Giancarlo Negretti worked as the National Sales manager for a multinational Company for the northern regions of Italy. With his enhanced sales experience, in 1968 Mr. Negretti opened his own Company and became a partner of various national and international brands.

Beauty Service S.R.L. was founded in 1977 by the President Mr. Negretti.

In 1983 after working in the industry for so long and after seeing the dissatisfaction of numerous hairdressers with regards to the products they were using in their salons and the aversion of their respective clients with regards to the results of the services they were receiving, Mr. Negretti decided to take on a project which not only would satisfy the hairdressers in the Italian market, but would also satisfy the requirements of hairdressers on a worldwide scale.

In 1985 the "Green Light" brand name was registered. Soon after, research with a group of highly qualified professionals began. Long years, careful scientific research and extremely hard work were spent into giving birth to this new international project.

In 1996, twelve years from the original idea, the Green Light Philosophy was launched on the national and international markets with the confidence that a range of professional hair care products with really new concepts and power of sale were produced. These products, together with the other four elements in the Green Light Philosophy: "Accessories", "Education", "Architecture of Well Being" and "Marketing and Communication" were going to satisfy the contemporary hairdresser's most sophisticated needs.
